"redeeming love" by franchise rivers!
In this splendid retelling of the biblical story of Hosea, bestselling author Francine Rivers pens a heartbreaking romance between a prostitute and the upright and kind farmer who marries her; the story also functions as a reminder of God's unconditional love for his people. Redeeming Love opens with the Gold Rush of 1850 and its rough-and-tumble atmosphere of greed and desire. Angel, who was sold into prostitution as a child, has learned to distrust all men, who see her only as a way to satisfy their lust. When the virtuous and spiritual-minded Michael Hosea is told by God to marry this "soiled dove," he obeys, despite his misgivings. As Angel learns to love him, she begins to hope again but is soon overwhelmed by fear and returns to her old life. Rivers shines in her ability to weave together spiritual themes and sexual tension in a well-told story, a talent that has propelled her into the spotlight as one of the most popular novelists in the genre of Christian fiction. This is one of her best. --Cindy Crosby
i HIGHLY recommend this book! you wont be able to put it down! i love the book so much and plan on reading it again. i learned so much about the power of god's love that which he wants the same power of love between husbands and wife. :)
a book i just bought today november 3, 2011 is called "the boy who came back from heaven"
In 2004, Kevin Malarkey and his six-year-old son, Alex, suffered an horrific car accident. The impact from the crash paralyzed Alex—and medically speaking, it was unlikely that he could survive. “I think Alex has gone to be with Jesus,” a friend told the stricken dad.
But two months later, Alex awoke from a coma with an incredible story to share. Of events at the accident scene and in the hospital while he was unconscious. Of the angels that took him through the gates of heaven itself. Of the unearthly music that sounded just terrible to a six-year-old. And, most amazing of all . . . Of meeting and talking to Jesus.
The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven is the true story of an ordinary boy’s most extraordinary journey. As you see heaven and earth through Alex’s eyes, you’ll come away with new insights on miracles, life beyond this world, and the power of a father’s love.

as i mentioned below i have all these books that i started but never finished. one day i was at walmart and i saw this book that i just had to have! the holy spirit told me to read that book!
i actually FINISHED that book! it was amazing and exactly what i needed.
ive been having prophetic dreams since i was 15 years old. my dreams have ALWAYS came to pass. bad dreams and good dreams
this book definatally is a huge HELP on how to interpret dreams, awake visions, and so forth.
this is the book
There is no question that every person will have a dream at one point or another. Some will even have visions. But both experiences often leave people searching for interpretations. What did the dream mean? Is it a warning? Is it advice? Is it preparation for things to come? In this book, best-selling author Perry Stone will answer these questions and cover topics such as:The purpose of dreams and the revelations they bring
Why dreams use symbolism and why they aren’t simple and plain
Learning to listen to your partner’s dreams and warnings
Why some dreams are delayed in coming to pass
The significance of nightmares and dirty dreams
True dreams versus false dreams
The difference between psychic voices and prophetic voices
What it means when you dream of a departed loved one
What it means when you have the same dream more than once
The possibility of a warning dream being changed through prayer
The book will also include an extensive list of symbols found in dreams and will discuss what it means when you find these object in your dreams:
Doors, oil, and lamps
Animals such as bulls, cattle, pigs, swine, snakes, and birds
Trees and rocks
Wind, water, ocean, fire, tornadoes, earthquakes, lightning, and storms
Fields, wheat, and flowers
Swords, arrows, and chains
Various food items
here is a review from a customer who bought his book that i definately relate to..
main point being that this book is BIBICALLY based which i strongly want to keep my interpretations strictly from GOD.
One of the things I like best about Perry Stone's books is that he writes on topics that not many Christian writers cover, but he always has a solid, biblical foundations for all of his books.
How to Interpret Dreams and Visions was a must read for me because this is a subject that I find fascinating, but reading secular books about dreams can lead the reader down a dangerous path away from God. Perry Stone educates and informs the reader about what God is trying to tell us through our dreams and he educates us well.
I loved this book and found each page more interesting than the one before. I really appreciate Perry taking the time to do some solid research and writing a book with a strong Christian message that can guide Christians to understand their dreams. I highly recommend this book. It is interesting, well written and very biblical. I will continue to read Perry Stone's books with confidence that he does not compromise on the Word of God. by: C.Kendall

God's people are truly ONE body, the body of christ. everytime i study in depth on something, i am never the only one. god is amazing, i studied wisdom last night and the next day at church the pastor preached of wisdom.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. proverbs 1:7.
He preached about the seven foundation stones of our nation. and on foundation number 4- The right to a god-centered education, i was suprised!
Harvard- founded 1636 by puritans
rules and precepts:
"let every student be plainly instructed, and earnestly pressed to consider well, the main end of his life and studies is, to know god and jesus christ which is eternal life"
princeton university in one of its founding statements:
"cursed is all learning that is contrary to the cross of christ"
yale- established in 1701 with a stated goal that:
"every student shall consider the main end of his study to wit to know god in jesus christ and answerable to lead a godly, sober life."

We watched a movie called FOOD,INC. EVERYONE NEEDS TO WATCH IT!
Documentary filmmaker Robert Kenner uses reports by Fast Food Nation author Eric Schlosser and The Omnivore's Dilemma author Michael Pollan as a springboard to exploring where the food we purchase at the grocery store really comes from, and what it means for the health of future generations. By exposing the comfortable relationships between business and government, Kenner gradually shines light on the dark underbelly of the American food industry. The USDA and FDA are supposed to protect the public, so why is it that both government regulatory agencies have been complicit in allowing corporations to put profit ahead of consumer health, the American farmer, worker safety, and even the environment? As chicken breasts get bigger and tomatoes are genetically engineered not to go bad, 73,000 Americans fall ill from powerful new strains of E. coli every year, obesity levels are skyrocketing, and adult diabetes has reached epidemic proportions. Perhaps if the general public knew how corporations use exploited laws and subsidies to create powerful monopolies, the outrage would be enough to make us think more carefully about the food we put into our bodies.
God says, Hosea 4:6- My people die from lack of knowledge.
People with wisdom exposes this for us!

Behold, Thou dost desire truth in the innermost being, And in the hidden part Thou wilt make me know wisdom. psalm 51:6
A testimony about how i got my first BIBLE
I remember as a child, my brother, sister, and i would walk to the old bayview library every day. it was only about a 2 block walk from our house. I would sit on the floor leaning against the book shelf and read for HOURS. I have always LOVED reading. I could finish a book a day. I cant remember WHY i stopped reading when i was in the teenage ages. In college, i only collected school books and I was also indroduced to the computer and internet. I was really fasinated by the internet and discovered chat rooms. in the beginning, it gave me exitement to be able to talk to people online. It was a whole 'nother world, i could be anyone i wanted to be. i would tell a lie endlessly in one chat room, in another room i would find myself lashing out victiously playing along with other victious online people. I even pretended to be someone famous. Men started sending me pictures of themselves (their faces) out of no where and i became cuious about it. Jason knew about the pictures. I never went anywhere further except seeing what they looked like and a few conversations. I always told them i had a boyfriend. I thought it wasnt a big deal because it was only "online" these people arent important, they dont really know who i am. It was later when i finally realized that even though i thought i was having "innocent" fun, i was actually hurting people. ultimately hurting myself. IT WAS A HUGE DISTRACTION. I also watched T.V so much, soap operas and talk shows. On one talk show i was fasinated by a woman named sylvia browne. she was a psyhic and she had books about psyhic stuff. I wanted her books and i got them as a gift for christmas. The DAY that I was going to read them, my childhood friend emily came over to visit. She was in town from college and wanted to meet Isaiah. During our visit, I talked about sylvia browne and showed her the books. She read a few sentences and her eyes widened. She looked at me softly and shared with me a story about her friend who was in witchcraft and in a psyhic realm. I knew there was GOD but i didnt know jesus yet at the time. I knew emily for many years and she reflects a beautiful spirit of love, humbleness, and compassion. I trusted emily and threw those books away. She went to her car and came back with her bible and gave it to me. My very FIRST bible, the teen study bible, niv. I became fasinated with the bible but there was something much more, much deeper, and REAL about it. Thinking back, I was extremely DISTRACTED with being led to destroy my relationship with jason, and to tamper with witchcraft. Shortly after emily's visit, Jason brought a new friend over named Nick. Nick's mom is a pastor and he grew up in church. Even though we would blindly party with alachol as much as we could, he shared Jesus with us little by little. One day he invited us to attend church because his mom had graduated becomig a pastor. Ive been to church very FEW times, catholic churches and one baptist church which was so much like catholic church. This very first holy spirit filled church that i visited was not at all what i expected. it was very different from the catholic church. there was so much love, compassion, respect, and hope. there was a prositute crying and being comforted at the alter. old women with the biggest smiles ive ever seen with their hands extended out in the air, praying. young men on their knees some crying, some praying, and some singing. it was so BEAUTIFUL. the place was not fancy at all, there was just 3 pews and a lot of people. people were dancing, singing, and shouting. children were allowed to run around and pray. they werent considered distractions because they were trusted and showed respect. i wondered endlessly how this was happening, how someone can truly be filled with such joy with old broken shoes and a dirty shirt. after witnessing these life transforming sight, i started to read my bible. i was going back and forth for a few years with being faithful to god and then choosing to go back to the old familiar lifestyle. god has kept his promise,
And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.
Deuteronomy 31:8 NKJV
Even though i was getting to know jesus and still choosing to do destructive things, god was STILL there for me. The bible called my name when i looked at it while i was sad and reading the very FIRST word made me feel so much better. This happened ALL the time. Through all this i never truly understood the widsom that was within until i became more mature. wisdom has exposed everthing from food, beauty products, money, drugs and alachol, language, music, etc... my jason and i split up for the worst 5 months of my life, yet the best chasening from god of our lives. the BLINDNESS during that time was so strong. thinking back, i still cant understand what i knew about god at the time and how i could choose to do such absured things.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6.
one day i woke up and looked around my house. it was so disgusting, there was cigarette butts everywhere, empty bottles of beer and liquor, garbage, and such darkness. at that moment i decided to drag myself to church. i prayed at church EVERYDAY for a month. jason and i were reunited and became faithful to god until we got married. we center god in our marriage and everything we do. we still make mistakes but god's stronghold is overpowering now than it ever was. still to this day, everyday the more i get to know jesus the more i am still transforming into a woman filled with such JOY.
There are much deeper things to share about how wisdom as a being from what i just typed above. its on a supernatural level and it would take a whole chapter of a book to type. someday i will do that.
The books pictured above was very inspirational, messages from god, and wisdom being fulfilled and confirmed.
