The Art of wisdom

december book
"redeeming love" by franchise rivers!
In this splendid retelling of the biblical story of Hosea, bestselling author Francine Rivers pens a heartbreaking romance between a prostitute and the upright and kind farmer who marries her; the story also functions as a reminder of God's unconditional love for his people. Redeeming Love opens with the Gold Rush of 1850 and its rough-and-tumble atmosphere of greed and desire. Angel, who was sold into prostitution as a child, has learned to distrust all men, who see her only as a way to satisfy their lust. When the virtuous and spiritual-minded Michael Hosea is told by God to marry this "soiled dove," he obeys, despite his misgivings. As Angel learns to love him, she begins to hope again but is soon overwhelmed by fear and returns to her old life. Rivers shines in her ability to weave together spiritual themes and sexual tension in a well-told story, a talent that has propelled her into the spotlight as one of the most popular novelists in the genre of Christian fiction. This is one of her best. --Cindy Crosby

i HIGHLY recommend this book! you wont be able to put it down! i love the book so much and plan on reading it again. i learned so much about the power of god's love that which he wants the same power of love between husbands and wife. :)

a book i just bought today november 3, 2011 is called "the boy who came back from heaven"
In 2004, Kevin Malarkey and his six-year-old son, Alex, suffered an horrific car accident. The impact from the crash paralyzed Alex—and medically speaking, it was unlikely that he could survive. “I think Alex has gone to be with Jesus,” a friend told the stricken dad.

But two months later, Alex awoke from a coma with an incredible story to share. Of events at the accident scene and in the hospital while he was unconscious. Of the angels that took him through the gates of heaven itself. Of the unearthly music that sounded just terrible to a six-year-old. And, most amazing of all . . . Of meeting and talking to Jesus.

The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven
is the true story of an ordinary boy’s most extraordinary journey. As you see heaven and earth through Alex’s eyes, you’ll come away with new insights on miracles, life beyond this world, and the power of a father’s love.
im excited about starting to read that book and will tonight before bed :) (as soon as i finish updating my blog :)

as i mentioned below i have all these books that i started but never finished. one day i was at walmart and i saw this book that i just had to have! the holy spirit told me to read that book!
i actually FINISHED that book! it was amazing and exactly what i needed.
ive been having prophetic dreams since i was 15 years old. my dreams have ALWAYS came to pass. bad dreams and good dreams
this book definatally is a huge HELP on how to interpret dreams, awake visions, and so forth.
this is the book
There is no question that every person will have a dream at one point or another. Some will even have visions. But both experiences often leave people searching for interpretations. What did the dream mean? Is it a warning? Is it advice? Is it preparation for things to come? In this book, best-selling author Perry Stone will answer these questions and cover topics such as:
The purpose of dreams and the revelations they bring
Why dreams use symbolism and why they aren’t simple and plain
Learning to listen to your partner’s dreams and warnings
Why some dreams are delayed in coming to pass
The significance of nightmares and dirty dreams
True dreams versus false dreams
The difference between psychic voices and prophetic voices
What it means when you dream of a departed loved one
What it means when you have the same dream more than once
The possibility of a warning dream being changed through prayer
The book will also include an extensive list of symbols found in dreams and will discuss what it means when you find these object in your dreams:
Doors, oil, and lamps
Animals such as bulls, cattle, pigs, swine, snakes, and birds
Trees and rocks
Wind, water, ocean, fire, tornadoes, earthquakes, lightning, and storms
Fields, wheat, and flowers
Swords, arrows, and chains
Various food items

here is a review from a customer who bought his book that i definately relate to..
main point being that this book is BIBICALLY based which i strongly want to keep my interpretations strictly from GOD.

One of the things I like best about Perry Stone's books is that he writes on topics that not many Christian writers cover, but he always has a solid, biblical foundations for all of his books.

How to Interpret Dreams and Visions was a must read for me because this is a subject that I find fascinating, but reading secular books about dreams can lead the reader down a dangerous path away from God. Perry Stone educates and informs the reader about what God is trying to tell us through our dreams and he educates us well.

I loved this book and found each page more interesting than the one before. I really appreciate Perry taking the time to do some solid research and writing a book with a strong Christian message that can guide Christians to understand their dreams. I highly recommend this book. It is interesting, well written and very biblical. I will continue to read Perry Stone's books with confidence that he does not compromise on the Word of God. by: C.Kendall

God's people are truly ONE body, the body of christ. everytime i study in depth on something, i am never the only one. god is amazing, i studied wisdom last night and the next day at church the pastor preached of wisdom.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. proverbs 1:7.
He preached about the seven foundation stones of our nation. and on foundation number 4- The right to a god-centered education, i was suprised!

Harvard- founded 1636 by puritans
rules and precepts:
"let every student be plainly instructed, and earnestly pressed to consider well, the main end of his life and studies is, to know god and jesus christ which is eternal life"

princeton university in one of its founding statements:
"cursed is all learning that is contrary to the cross of christ"

yale- established in 1701 with a stated goal that:
"every student shall consider the main end of his study to wit to know god in jesus christ and answerable to lead a godly, sober life."

We watched a movie called FOOD,INC. EVERYONE NEEDS TO WATCH IT!
Documentary filmmaker Robert Kenner uses reports by Fast Food Nation author Eric Schlosser and The Omnivore's Dilemma author Michael Pollan as a springboard to exploring where the food we purchase at the grocery store really comes from, and what it means for the health of future generations. By exposing the comfortable relationships between business and government, Kenner gradually shines light on the dark underbelly of the American food industry. The USDA and FDA are supposed to protect the public, so why is it that both government regulatory agencies have been complicit in allowing corporations to put profit ahead of consumer health, the American farmer, worker safety, and even the environment? As chicken breasts get bigger and tomatoes are genetically engineered not to go bad, 73,000 Americans fall ill from powerful new strains of E. coli every year, obesity levels are skyrocketing, and adult diabetes has reached epidemic proportions. Perhaps if the general public knew how corporations use exploited laws and subsidies to create powerful monopolies, the outrage would be enough to make us think more carefully about the food we put into our bodies.

God says, Hosea 4:6- My people die from lack of knowledge.
People with wisdom exposes this for us!

Behold, Thou dost desire truth in the innermost being, And in the hidden part Thou wilt make me know wisdom. psalm 51:6

A testimony about how i got my first BIBLE
I remember as a child, my brother, sister, and i would walk to the old bayview library every day. it was only about a 2 block walk from our house. I would sit on the floor leaning against the book shelf and read for HOURS. I have always LOVED reading. I could finish a book a day. I cant remember WHY i stopped reading when i was in the teenage ages. In college, i only collected school books and I was also indroduced to the computer and internet. I was really fasinated by the internet and discovered chat rooms. in the beginning, it gave me exitement to be able to talk to people online. It was a whole 'nother world, i could be anyone i wanted to be. i would tell a lie endlessly in one chat room, in another room i would find myself lashing out victiously playing along with other victious online people. I even pretended to be someone famous. Men started sending me pictures of themselves (their faces) out of no where and i became cuious about it. Jason knew about the pictures. I never went anywhere further except seeing what they looked like and a few conversations. I always told them i had a boyfriend. I thought it wasnt a big deal because it was only "online" these people arent important, they dont really know who i am. It was later when i finally realized that even though i thought i was having "innocent" fun, i was actually hurting people. ultimately hurting myself. IT WAS A HUGE DISTRACTION. I also watched T.V so much, soap operas and talk shows. On one talk show i was fasinated by a woman named sylvia browne. she was a psyhic and she had books about psyhic stuff. I wanted her books and i got them as a gift for christmas. The DAY that I was going to read them, my childhood friend emily came over to visit. She was in town from college and wanted to meet Isaiah. During our visit, I talked about sylvia browne and showed her the books. She read a few sentences and her eyes widened. She looked at me softly and shared with me a story about her friend who was in witchcraft and in a psyhic realm. I knew there was GOD but i didnt know jesus yet at the time. I knew emily for many years and she reflects a beautiful spirit of love, humbleness, and compassion. I trusted emily and threw those books away. She went to her car and came back with her bible and gave it to me. My very FIRST bible, the teen study bible, niv. I became fasinated with the bible but there was something much more, much deeper, and REAL about it. Thinking back, I was extremely DISTRACTED with being led to destroy my relationship with jason, and to tamper with witchcraft. Shortly after emily's visit, Jason brought a new friend over named Nick. Nick's mom is a pastor and he grew up in church. Even though we would blindly party with alachol as much as we could, he shared Jesus with us little by little. One day he invited us to attend church because his mom had graduated becomig a pastor. Ive been to church very FEW times, catholic churches and one baptist church which was so much like catholic church. This very first holy spirit filled church that i visited was not at all what i expected. it was very different from the catholic church. there was so much love, compassion, respect, and hope. there was a prositute crying and being comforted at the alter. old women with the biggest smiles ive ever seen with their hands extended out in the air, praying. young men on their knees some crying, some praying, and some singing. it was so BEAUTIFUL. the place was not fancy at all, there was just 3 pews and a lot of people. people were dancing, singing, and shouting. children were allowed to run around and pray. they werent considered distractions because they were trusted and showed respect. i wondered endlessly how this was happening, how someone can truly be filled with such joy with old broken shoes and a dirty shirt. after witnessing these life transforming sight, i started to read my bible. i was going back and forth for a few years with being faithful to god and then choosing to go back to the old familiar lifestyle. god has kept his promise,
And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.
Deuteronomy 31:8 NKJV
Even though i was getting to know jesus and still choosing to do destructive things, god was STILL there for me. The bible called my name when i looked at it while i was sad and reading the very FIRST word made me feel so much better. This happened ALL the time. Through all this i never truly understood the widsom that was within until i became more mature. wisdom has exposed everthing from food, beauty products, money, drugs and alachol, language, music, etc... my jason and i split up for the worst 5 months of my life, yet the best chasening from god of our lives. the BLINDNESS during that time was so strong. thinking back, i still cant understand what i knew about god at the time and how i could choose to do such absured things.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6.
one day i woke up and looked around my house. it was so disgusting, there was cigarette butts everywhere, empty bottles of beer and liquor, garbage, and such darkness. at that moment i decided to drag myself to church. i prayed at church EVERYDAY for a month. jason and i were reunited and became faithful to god until we got married. we center god in our marriage and everything we do. we still make mistakes but god's stronghold is overpowering now than it ever was. still to this day, everyday the more i get to know jesus the more i am still transforming into a woman filled with such JOY.

There are much deeper things to share about how wisdom as a being from what i just typed above. its on a supernatural level and it would take a whole chapter of a book to type. someday i will do that.

The books pictured above was very inspirational, messages from god, and wisdom being fulfilled and confirmed.
-my number one favorite is the purple bible cover holding my dear bible the kjv study bible
-strongs concordace is a refference book that tells me where to find something specific in the bible
-the tniv bible i found at the goodwill. i rarely use that bible, i believe the kjv is the bible to ultimately follow, however, when i get stuck on something i dont understand i look in tniv bible to possibly make sense of it but that rarely happens and i usually ask pastor or cousel with the holy spirit. i make sure that i compare it with the kjv.
-phillip yancey, whats so amazing about grace
-phillip yancey, rumors of another world
-joyce meyers, eat and stay thin
-joyce meyers, battlefield of the mind devotional
-if you want to walk on water, you've got to get out of the boat
-slices of life
-god's promises for children, pastor scott knows this family and she recommended this book. its an amazing book with god's promises to take and apply it into praying over your children. "let it be so!"
-23 minutes in hell, an anguish book of the reality of hell and how so many christians are blinded as to not having enough anguish about it. this book is a HUGE MOTIVATION.
-stormie omartian, the power of a praying wife. this book is an amazing book conversing about husbands in a wife perspective. how to pray for your husband.
-wwjd
-how good is good enough, i got from visiting a church where my aunts first got saved.its about new believers and the common questions and concerns
-prayer journal, i got from pastor scott. it has the steps of praying.
-natural health remedies
-vegetarian times

im always tempted to buy more books but i need to FINISH these books that i started. i finished how good is good enough, prayer journal, god's promises for children, and battlefield of the mind (the book not devotional book). i need to finish the rest! ill add on my input of the book regarding to my wisdom within.

“For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13

I had cut his bangs previously because it would cover those precious eyes
i was too scared to cut the back because of his precious curls :)
I finally decided it was time for a official haircut. so I sat him down in the bathtub because its the only place where he would SIT STILL :)
i cut it according to various tutorials from You Tube and worked it around his hair type.
it turned out so CUTE! and his curls are still there! im so excited that he still has his precious curls! :)

 My handsom isaiah louis!

avocado, coconut oil, and egg hair treatment

peel the avocado and remove the pit
mash the avocado in a small bowl
add 1/3 cup of coconut oil
add egg
mix all together
apply to WET hair
wrap it with plastic bag or hair wrap
leave it on for about 20-30 mins
rinse it off and wash it gently with shampoo AND conditioner.
repeat conditioner if necessary

I made the mistake of applying it on DRY hair then i just sprayed some water on my hair to make it wet.
the benefits of avocado, coconut, and egg is that it makes your hair shiny and soft and it also hydrates your hair :)

henna hair!!!
I had bought some henna powder to make homemade henna for our cousins fun night. We were planning to give eachother henna tattoos :) One of our cousins was pregnant and ended up in labor! so our cousins night ended up at the hospital. I had an extra box of henna (200g) and I had seen some websites about dying your hair with henna while i was researching how to make homemade henna. I was bored one night, and decided to dye my hair!
FIRST i tested it with a strand of hair to make sure the henna was 100 percent pure henna. it had to be 100 percent pure because my hair was previously chemically dyed. if it was a compound henna (henna mixed with other chemicals) my hair would have turned green and the roots would be dead automatically!
This is the Henna powder i used.
To prepare the paste in a medium sized glass bowl
1. stift the powder again to make it really fine and for easier mixture.
2. add lemon juice, I added in about 2 tablespoons (it increases the effectiveness)
3. add HOT water, add little by little until the mixture is of yogurt consistency
4. seal the top with saran wrap or plastic bag with rubberband tightly on.
5. let it sit for about 2 hours, until the mixture is lighter in color.
6. use a old shirt and wear rubber gloves, add petroleum jelly around hair lines on face for easy wipe off if extra henna gets on your skin
7. divide your hair into sections, starting from the bottom
8. apply the henna paste thick and rub it in well.
9. tie ur hair with a plastic bag or plastic cap
10. leave it in for an hour
11. wash it out throughly and use contitioner twice if necessary
12. look at the beautiful color! enjoy!
(you can add oil to the paste before sealing it for frangrance)

henna in my hair!

plastic bag works! (can u tell im tired!)

before pic of my hair color

after pic!! beautiful henna dye color!

Henna is a popular way to dye your hair. Not only will it add a nice color of red to most hair colors, but it also conditions your hair. Henna is all natural so it will not harm your hair like the dyes found in stores today. Some other benefits of henna as a hair color is that it strengthens your hair, makes it easier to manage, and can even get rid of dandruff. Follow this hair coloring advice, coloring tips and ideas for how to use henna in hair.

Henna is red in its natural state and henna hair dye will normally make hair more red unless you put other additives with the henna hair dye. With the addition of walnut plant dye or coffee, henna can be brown. With the addition of chamomile, saffron, or senna, you can use henna to dye your hair blonde. If using just the pure henna, blondes will gain a natural red color, redheads will have a boost of color, brunettes will get an auburn color, but those with a full head of grey hair will only get orange hair. If you have ten percent or less grey hair, henna will dye the grey hair so that it looks like highlights.

Now that you've used this hair coloring advice and your hair is colored with henna, you must avoid any chemical processing and products, such as getting your hair chemically straightened or permed or putting dye in your hair. This will counteract the henna and damage the hair. Your hair can be safely dyed over and over with henna to achieve your desired color.

another hot day/ workout/ work hairstyle.
part hair on side, then part hair in middle going down back of head.
put hair in pigtails.
then add rubberbands going down the hair peices.

Workout hairstyle :) Since i run outside every morning now, its so HOT outside, and i needed a quick hairstyle that would keep my head cooler. i have extremely THICK hair. I usually put in cornrows braids to keep my head cooler but it takes way too long. So i came up with this quick method. let me know if you want me to do a tutorial on it and i can post a video.
this hairstyle stays in very well and all day. i even went swimming at the ymca that evening and it stayed put.

wheatgrass!!!!

i had been praying about why i kept getting pimples..
the things ive tried that had helped me clear up some were
-milk thistle liver cleaner and other ingredits mostly roots for liver cleaning aids(pills)
The liver is the body's blood factory because it not only promotes the building of blood, but it also cleans it. The liver stores blood during rest and circulates it during exertion. The volume of blood circulating in the veins changes according to the body's physiological needs. It is responsible for moving substancesthrough the body and regulates body activities.
-drank much more water
-psyllum husks
-apple cider vigegar scrubs with toothbrush (braggs)
-i even quit eating meat!! the no meat makes a huge difference in my health, my digestive system is smoother, more energy, metabolism is higher :)

however i kept getting pimples
i know that i need to go on a complete liver flush/cleanse, not the pills way.. i just havent had the time to commit to it.
kidney flush/cleanse would be nice too but its more time consuming than liver flush/cleanse
parasite flush/cleanse
ill have to go on a vacation to get all these done! :)

god had answered my prayers! i was at milwaukee market with my great friend and the mother of my nephew amy :)
we ordered some delicioius vegan food from a spot called the green kitchen.
i noticed a small poster that said wheatgrass and a LONG list of all the amazing benefits!
it hit me so deeply when i read that its a blood cleaner! because jesus told me i needed to CLEAN my BLOOD. blood cleaning is really important because u need NEW and fresh blood.. blood is LIFE.

Blood in our bodies is pumped by the heart through a network of arteries and veins. It is interesting to note that even the heart cannot survive without blood flowing through the vessels that bring nourishment to its muscular walls.
Having said that, it is anybody’s guess, we can't live without blood. Without blood, we couldn't keep warm or cool off, we couldn't fight infections, and we couldn't get rid of our own waste products.
Blood, therefore, is a vital body fluid – lifeline of a body that performs many important functions.

that is what i needed!!!!!

i went ahead and took a 2oz shot of my FIRST wheatgrass.
it was yuky but delicous knowing all the good stuff its gonna do for my body!!
i started feeling nauseated. it was the wheatgrass WORKIN on elimating the toxins in my body. very reassuring that it works immedately :)
2oz of wheatgrass=3lbs of ORGANIC fruits and vegetables! that is amazing stuff right here!!!

i went ahead and asked where they got their wheatgrass from and they suggessted growing power (their wheatgrass is personally grown)
i bought some wheatgrass and tried it with my regular juicer. boy it did NOT work! so i needed a wheatgrass juicer. and i ordered one from amazon.com called "the healthy juicer" it works very well :)
getting my wheatgrass juice ready!!

growing power's wheatgrass

after juicing, this is the WHOLE above picture of wheatgrass.
bone dry.. i get a little more than 1oz of wheatgrass juice per box of wheatgrass.

i drink a LOT of wheatgrass so i definately am planning on GROWING my own wheatgrass.. im in the process of getting the supplies together :)

growing power wheatgrass 1.50 per box (they chrged me 2.00 per box on a diff day, i dunno why)
the healthy juicer is 40.00
a shot of wheatgrass at the green kitchen is 2.50

i HIGHLY suggest you to drink wheatgrass simply for all the amazing health benefit :)

Benefits of Wheatgrass

WHEATGRASS JUICE...
Increases red blood-cell count and lowers blood pressure. It cleanses the blood, organs and gastrointestinal tract of debris. Wheatgrass also stimulates metabolism and the body’s enzyme systems by enriching the blood. It also aids in reducing blood pressure by dilating the blood pathways throughout the body.

Stimulates the thyroid gland, correcting obesity, indigestion, and a host of other complaints.
Restores alkalinity to the blood. The juice's abundance of alkaline minerals helps reduce over-acidity in the blood. It can be used to relieve many internal pains, and has been used successfully to treat peptic ulcers, ulcerative colitis, constipation, diarrhea, and other complaints of the gastrointestinal tract.

Is a powerful detoxifier, and liver and blood protector. The enzymes and amino acids found in wheatgrass can protect us from carcinogens like no other food or medicine. It strengthens our cells, detoxifies the liver and bloodstream, and chemically neutralizes environmental pollutants.

Fights tumors and neutralizes toxins. Recent studies show that wheatgrass juice has a powerful ability to fight tumors without the usual toxicity of drugs that also inhibit cell-destroying agents. The many active compounds found in grass juice cleanse the blood and neutralize and digest toxins in our cells.

Contains beneficial enzymes. Whether you have a cut finger you want to heal or you desire to lose five pounds...enzymes must do the actual work. The life and abilities of the enzymes found naturally in our bodies can be extended if we help them from the outside by adding exogenous enzymes, like the ones found in wheatgrass juice. Don't cook it. We can only get the benefits of the many enzymes found in grass by eating it uncooked. Cooking destroys 100 percent of the enzymes in food.

Has remarkable similarity to our own blood. The second important nutritional aspect of chlorophyll is its remarkable similarity to hemoglobin, the compound that carries oxygen in the blood. Dr. Yoshihide Hagiwara, president of the Hagiwara Institute of Health in Japan, is a leading advocate for the use of grass as food and medicine. He reasons that since chlorophyll is soluble in fat particles, and fat particles are absorbed directly into the blood via the lymphatic system, that chlorophyll can also be absorbed in this way. In other words, when the "blood" of plants is absorbed in humans it is transformed into human blood, which transports nutrients to every cell of the body.

When used as a rectal implant, reverses damage from inside the lower bowel. An implant is a small amount of juice held in the lower bowel for about 20 minutes. In the case of illness, wheatgrass implants stimulate a rapid cleansing of the lower bowel and draw out accumulations of debris.

Externally applied to the skin can help eliminate itching almost immediately.

Will soothe sunburned skin and act as a disinfectant. Rubbed into the scalp before a shampoo, it will help mend damaged hair and alleviate itchy, scaly, scalp conditions.

Is soothing and healing for cuts, burns, scrapes, rashes, poison ivy, athlete's foot, insect bites, boils, sores, open ulcers, tumors, and so on. Use as a poultice and replace every two to four hours.

Works as a sleep aide. Merely place a tray of living wheatgrass near the head of your bed. It will enhance the oxygen in the air and generate healthful negative ions to help you sleep more soundly.

Enhances your bath. Add some to your bath water and settle in for a nice, long soak.

Sweetens the breath and firms up and tightens gums. Just gargle with the juice.

Neutralizes toxic substances like cadmium, nicotine, strontium, mercury, and polyvinyl chloride.

Offers the benefits of a liquid oxygen transfusion since the juice contains liquid oxygen. Oxygen is vital to many body processes: it stimulates digestion (the oxidation of food), promotes clearer thinking (the brain utilizes 25% of the body's oxygen supply), and protects the blood against anaerobic bacteria. Cancer cells cannot exist in the presence of oxygen.

Turns gray hair to its natural color again and greatly increases energy levels when consumed daily.

Is a beauty treatment that slows down the aging process when the juice is consumed. Wheatgrass will cleanse your blood and help rejuvenate aging cells, slowing the aging process way down, making you feel more alive right away. It will help tighten loose and sagging skin.

Lessens the effects of radiation. One enzyme found in wheatgrass, SOD, lessens the effects of radiation and acts as an anti-inflammatory compound that may prevent cellular damage following heart attacks or exposure to irritants.

Restores fertility and promotes youthfulness.

Can double your red blood cell count just by soaking in it. Renowned nutritionist Dr. Bernard Jensen found that no other blood builders are superior to green juices and wheatgrass. In his book Health Magic Through Chlorophyll from Living Plant Life he mentions several cases where he was able to double the red blood cell count in a matter of days merely by having patients soak in a chlorophyll-water bath. Blood building results occur even more rapidly when patients drink green juices and wheatgrass regularly.

I cant stress enough how vital wheatgrass is! i suggest everyone to drink this amazing health potion from GOD! :)

Revelations 22:2- Trees are given for the healing of the nations.
This is my "vitamins", what i put in my body everyday.

-Whole psyllium husks for digestive health, i sprinkle it on food or mix it in a smoothie

-prenatal one (yes prenatal vitamins) for great source of iron and folic acid.. a lady's testimonal: My daughter is a nurse practitioner, and has a patient who is 94, and has been taking them for 60+ years. In fact, they are the only medication she takes, and she is in great health. Her 70 year old daughter also takes them.

-bragg's liquid aminos (soy sauce subsitute, bursted with aminos!) The body uses them to build new cells, fibers, tissues, nerves and molecules that transmit signals from one part of the body to another. They are also a significant source of energy for the cells of the body. I use this for rice/tofu dishes

-whole flax seeds and flax oil for women/breast health (ALL women should take it!) i sprinkle it on salads, rice, all food that i eat. its also for joint, muscle healing, and it contains omega-6 and omega-9 essential fatty acids, B vitamins, potassium, lecithin, magnesium, fiber, protein, and zinc and also provides approximately 50% more omega-3 oils than what you could get from taking fish oil.

-grapeseed oil for healthy eyes, heart, it has large amounts of vitamin c and vitamin e, i use it for frying food, and i use it as a ingredient for a beauty care.

-coconut oil for beauty care, kidney cleanse, when ingested it is a antimicrobial, antioxidant, antifungal, antibacterial, and soothing to your body. i use this for frying, making popcorn, and dressings.

i alternate the using the oils daily. for example, if i eat whole flax seeds then ill use coconut oil not flax seed oil.

-green tea, Green tea is made from unfermented leaves and reportedly contains the highest concentration of powerful antioxidants called polyphenols. Antioxidants are substances that scavenge free radicals -- damaging compounds in the body that alter cells, tamper with DNA (genetic material), and even cause cell death. Free radicals occur naturally in the body, but environmental toxins (including ultraviolet rays from the sun, radiation, cigarette smoke, and air pollution in other words, the world) also give rise to these damaging particles. Many scientists believe that free radicals contribute to the aging process as well as the development of a number of health problems, including cancer and heart disease. Antioxidants such as polyphenols in green tea can neutralize free radicals and may reduce or even help prevent some of the damage they cause.

-pharm aloe juice (not pictured above, need to purchase more)
this product boosts the immune system, enchances energy level, and maintains overall health. i take 4oz daily and when any symptoms of illness appears, i increase 8-12 oz for the day and the next day the sympotms are GONE! works wonders. my children take this everyday too, they take 2-4oz.

WORK OUT!
When I was ready to workout, 6 weeks after delivering Nathan, I began my lifestyle of fitness. I was attending YMCA with my best friend Stacy. We took 1 hour classes of Zumba, body pump, and yoga. A workout instructor randomly gave us a paper instructing how to build running endurance and how to make running a lifestyle. I looked at her all crazy thinking, theres NO way i'm gonna start running because I remember running in the past. I never really enjoyed it. WOW now thinking back, I really avoided running. I saw the P90X workout informercial on t.v, it looked like it would bring results! After researching online and seeing youtube everyday people with results. I decided to go ahead and try it out! I got an amazing CHEAP price brand new from craigslist. :) I worked out for a month. It did give me some results however, It got so BORING. I missed working out with people so I started attending the YMCA more often again. My weight got stuck on the same number i kept seeing over and over again. So I began to pray and talk to god. God led me to a Book from the goodwill "Japanese women dont get old or fat".

It wasnt a diet book or a culture book. it was like having a conversation with a japanese woman. I learned so much reading that book. God is so amazing, he took all the information splattered all over the place of what i already knew and from the book, and mixed it all together. He got rid of some, kept most, and packed it all into a huge smooth ball with saying trust me. he threw the ball right in front of me, and it blew up into a beautiful dust of information. i walked right in it with trust absorbing it through my pores. As my brain was building up the information, I dont even have to analyze it. Keeping the trust, I tried food ive never tried before in my life and i fell in LOVE with it. I notice i eat more smaller portions of food at a time and i get extremely full and satistfied. At the YMCA the classes, working out with people became BORING. I found myself eyeing the treadmill more and more. I decided to try running with holding on to my goal of always wanting to do a marathon! I ran a good mile and got tired. Determined, I kept running and speed walking in intervals. My hips began to give me a nerve feeling type of pain. Determined, I was NOT going to let some pain stop me. Instead of the treadmill, I decided to try running outside on the bike trail. I ran and ran about a mile and my pain was starting to become unbearable. I prayed OUT LOUD saying God I WANT to run and I want to ENJOY running. I began mediating on all the good things of god, praising him, thanking him, and singing. Not realizing it after about another mile, my pain was GONE!! I became extremely excited and kept going. I prayed harder and began a battle prayer. I ran 4 miles! past the 3 miles I was stuck on. The next day i was determined to beat the treadmill. So I began running while I was in a conversation with my brother via email on my cell phone. God was in my heart, mind, and spirit the whole time. At the end, I ran 6 miles!!! When i took my running shoes off, my shins HURT so bad! mostly my left leg. I was so sad. I waited a few days then tried again, it STILL hurt :( so all i could do was speed walk. I was watching t.v and randomly God popped a vision of a picture ive seen before, a man running with no shoes. So i immediately went online and looked it up. I found barefoot running, I researched it. I immediately went outside with no shoes on and began running! Amazily, my shins only hurt for ONE block and it gradually disappeared!! I thought, With absloutely NO SHOES? are you for real god? i was so shocked. I ran 3 miles! I run barefoot every morning outside, 1-3 miles at a time. Im feeling new muscles ive never felt before under my feet, ankles, knees, hips, back, shoulders, and arms. I will graually increase milage as these muscles gradually build up. Its a great feeling, its FUN! That is the ultimate thing i needed which was to have FUN and ENJOYMENT!!! ill NEVER get BORED of BAREFOOT RUNNING! Run on the grass, sidewalk, leaping over rocks and debris, I feel like a kid again! :) Thinking back to that workout instructor giving me the running information, It SURE is becoming a lifestyle for me. I thank god for leading me on this journey to find exactly what was the best for me and my health! The skin on my feet feel the effects of the hot cement after a while so I will invest in the vibram five fingers shoes

These are shoes that u still get benefits of barefoot running with protective cover for the bottom of your feet. However, on not so hot days, I will still run with NO SHOES!

tuna casserole!
I didnt know what to make for dinner that night, so i looked around my kitchen and found ingredits which ended up to be a TUNA CASSEROLE. it was SO GOOD! my husband LOVED this meal, it filled him up so good and he kept eating it, he must
have had like 3 servings!

- 2 canned tuna in water
-jasmine rice
-cream cheese
-green peas jar
-balsamic vinaigrette (newman's own)
-corn bread (jiffy)

i made the rice according to instructions and put the rice in a large bowl when it was done
i mixed the rice with balsamic vinaigrette instead of butter, i squeezed the bottle forgetting that it didnt have a hole on top so a LOT came out, i was able to drain some out but a lot was still on the rice. it still was DELICIOUS. so i would say about 1/3 - 1/2 cup of it
i made the corn bread according to instruction and let it cool down
i sautaed the tuna and green peas in the skillet and added cream cheese until the cream cheese was bubbly
i poured in the tuna/peas/creamcheese sauce into the bowl of rice and mixed it all together.
then i crumbled up corn bread for the top

it was soooo goood! :)

-black quinoa
-cream cheese
-grilled peppers (frozen from target)
cook black quiona according to directions
cook grilled peppers according to directions
melt cream cheese in microwave safe bowl
mix cream cheese and peppers then add to quiona
this meal was very filling and delicious
and above all very SIMPLE and QUICK! :)

the quinoa jump started my day! it moved my digestive system and then gave me great ENERGY!

Quinoa (pronounced keen-wah) is not a grain; it is actually a seed and related to the spinach family. When cooked, quinoa is light, fluffy, slightly crunchy and subtly flavored. It actually cooks and tastes like a grain, making it an excellent replacement for grains that are difficult to digest or feed candida (a systemic fungal infection).
But its flavor is only part of why quinoa is such an amazing "supergrain."
Some of the nutrients in quinoa include:
  • Complete protein. Quinoa contains all 9 essential amino acids that are required by the body as building blocks for muscles.
  • Magnesium helps relax your muscles and blood vessels and effects blood pressure. Quinoa contains high levels of this vital nutrient.
  • Fiber. Quinoa is a wonderful way to ensure that you consume valuable fiber that eases elimination and tones your colon.
  • Manganese and copper. Quinoa is a good source of these minerals that act as antioxidants in your body to get rid of dangerous cancer and disease-causing substances.
Compared to other grains, quinoa is higher in calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, iron, copper, manganese, and zinc than wheat, barley, or corn.2
Studies have shown that quinoa has documented health benefits too!
Quinoa, in its whole grain form, may be effective in preventing and treating these conditions:3
  • Artherosclerosis
  • Breast cancer
  • Diabetes
  • Insulin resistance
Researchers attribute the health benefits of quinoa to its complete nutritional makeup.

I want to strive to get into the habit of eating quiona EVERYDAY!
you can cook it and store it in your refridgerator for a week. it can be eaten cold or hot :)

    2 guacamoles cut in cubes
    2 cucumbers cut in cubes
    grape tomatos cut in half
    lemon juice
    lime juice
    extra firm sprouted tofu.

if the tofu is too soft for you, boil it with few tablepoons of water to remove the excess water in the tofu
    cut the tofu into cubes
marinate it in teryaki sauce for 5 minutes
fry the tofu with few tablespoons of oil
after you cut the vegetables, put everything in a huge bowl
mix it, squeeze a slice of lemon and a slice of lime, and for the final touch, top it with whole flax seeds (i forgot the seeds for the pic above)

jordan was hesitating to try it at first. i remind him by saying "remember jordan every time i tell you that its good and that you will like it when u try it, you always LOVE it". so he is always bold and he trys new food all the time. he LOVES this meal! :)

jordan LOVED this recipe minus the tomatos. we ate this for lunch AND dinner. Isaiah refused to try it no matter how much we encouraged him :(

    SUSHI
    ½ cup rice vinegar
    2 tablespoons sesame oil
    4 nori seaweed sheets
    2 cups cooked short-grain rice
    1 cup cucumber strips
    1 cup cooked sweet potatoes
    2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

Jason wanted some salmon, so we made one cooked salmon peice, and one raw salmon peice (Pick n save has them for a dollar a peice right now on sale)

In a large mixing bowl, combine the rice vinegar with the sesame oil. Add the cucumber strips, stirring gently, and allow to marinate for about 4 hours. Remove from the marinade and drain.

With a blender, whip the sweet potatoes until they are smooth and creamy.
Put a sheet of Nori on the bamboo roller
spread rice all over the nori but leave about 1/4 of the nori without rice thats toward you.
paste the sweet potatoes on the rice
    Add marinated cucumbers
    Add salmon as desired
Roll the bamboo forward then flip it back as u roll on (the picture below doesn't show as it was my first attempt, when i finally realized how to do it, I was so EXCITED! it takes pratice, also look up you tube if needed)

    My first attempt!
The cucumbers were applied really thick, for the next ones I put one line of cucmber and not all over.

Jason and I had so much FUN making this! Some was without any salmon, some added with raw salmon, some added with cooked salmon.

Final product!!! IT was so Yummy!!! I couldn't eat so much at once. It is VERY FILLING. There are countless recipes online, ENJOY!

i was reading a parent magazine at the YMCA during a workout, and saw this mouth watering recipe!
Perfect for kids lunch: Turkey lunch meat, Sliced Apple, Poppy seed dressing, and Toasted whole wheat bread!

    It was DELICIOUS!
